The coconuts are harvested, cracked, removed from the shell, cut, hot air dried and packed.
These African coconuts from Ghana grow along the sea. No fertilizers or pesticides are used on these coconut palms during their entire life cycle, which can be more than 50 years.
After the coconuts fall to the ground, the husk is removed manually with a harvesting knife.
